This hand stitched 32 page mini journal/sketchbook is made with spalted maple wood covers. Inside is cold-pressed watercolor paper, so it's ideal for painting, sketching, whatever you want! A butterfly has been hand burned onto the cover. No stain here! Matte lacquer finish. Each journal is unique based on the natural grain of the wood and the burnings. The coptic stitch binding technique allows the book to open flat.

The wood we use is cut locally and sustainably by us using our portable sawmill.
