Coneflower (Poplar - Watercolor)
This hand stitched 32 page journal/sketchbook is made with poplar wood covers. Inside is cold-pressed watercolor paper, so it's ideal for painting, sketching, whatever you want! A coneflower (echinacea) has been hand burned onto the cover. No stain here! Lacquer finish. Each journal is unique based on the natural grain of the wood and the burnings. The coptic stitch binding technique allows the book to open flat.
The wood we use is cut locally and sustainably by us using our portable sawmill.
